Is there an after party after the wedding reception

Yes! At Hula Night Club - right off the town square! We’ll have shuttles taking folks from the wedding venue to the after party when it’s time!

Do I need a passport or visa?

You’ll need a valid passport to travel to Mexico. No visa is required for U.S. and Canadian citizens staying under 180 days.

How do we get around town?

Everytime we go to Sayulita, we rent Golf Carts! They’re the main way everyone gets around town, and are just so so fun. We recommend this company - they make it super easy and will drop off the cart when you get in and pick it up at the end of the rental from wherever you’re staying!

Note: if you’re staying at La Puesta, you’re a 15-20 mon walk to the main town, so I’d highly recommend them if you’re staying there!

If golf carts are not your jam, no worries, Sayulita is very walkable (it’s probably 25 min walk from end to end).

Is Sayulita walkable?

Yes! The town is small and walkable—just be prepared for some cobblestone roads and steep hills. Comfy shoes are your friend.

Will transportation be provided for any events?

We will have shuttles to take folks to town after the Reception on Saturday to continue to party at Hula.

All events will be walkable from central Sayulita (15 min walk max!). There are also always cabs at the town square and Uber often works as well (but be warned, sometimes there aren’t any available!)

Can I bring a plus one or my kids?

If your invitation includes a guest or children, they are absolutely welcome! Otherwise, we’re keeping it intimate. Thanks!

What’s the weather like in Sayulita in early December?

Expect warm, sunny days in the high 70s to low 80s and cooler evenings in the high 60s. Rain is rare and humidity is relatively mild—ideal for beach days and breezy nights.

Will events be indoors or outdoors?

All outdoors! Think ocean breezes, open-air vibes, and golden sunsets—bring layers for cooler evenings.

What should I pack besides wedding outfits?

Sunscreen, swimsuits, sandals, light layers, and anything you love for the beach. A hat and comfy walking shoes go a long way.

What about money while in Sayulita?

Sayulita is very cash-based. Pesos are best, as even though more people are beginning to have a credit option, you will be charged extra for it. I'd recommend you take out cash BEFORE arriving in Mexico -  you'll save money not paying foreign transaction fees. If you want to wait once you pass customs in the airport, head past all the VIP and tour people so that you almost go through the doors to the outside. But before you are out, turn right and there are a few ATMs you can use your debit card in. HSBC has the lowest fees on foreign cards, which can be quite a bit, so I suggest you get the max out if you will be here for a while. In Sayulita, the best ATM is at Don Pedros restaurant right at the beach - safe, reliable, and with the highest amount in one go (5000 pesos) and the smallest user fee in town to minimize your costs.
